Habitat for Humanity Special

Hospitality for HabitatBrewster House joins with the Maine Innkeepers Association 7th Annual Hospitality for Habitat program. This program is designed to raise funds for local chapters of Habitat for Humanity while encouraging travel in Maine in the beautiful Spring season.

From April 26 to May 27, 2010 (not including May 1-4), Brewster House Bed & Breakfast will make two of their rooms available at half the regular rate, in exchange for a $35 check payable to Habitat for Humanity. The rooms available for this special are Room Two and Room Six.

Room Two is a double-occupancy queen room. The rate for Room Two will be $74.50 per night, plus tax. Room Six is a two bedroom suite, for up to four people. The rate for Room Six will be $114.50 per night, plus tax.

One $35 check (payable to Habitat for Humanity) required per stay; each stay is limited to two consecutive nights at Brewster House.

The funds collected for Habitat for Humanity will be distributed among the nine local chapters of Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity International is a Christian ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing. Founded in 1975 by Millard Fuller, along with his wife Linda, Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliates in more than 3,000 communities in 92 nations have built more than 300,000 homes for partner families around the world. Their website is www.habitat.org. This year, after the devastating earth quake in Haiti, part of the funds raised will also be distributed to help support Habitat for Humanity projects in Haiti.

Reservations must be made in advance, and the contribution to Habitat for Humanity must be in the form of a check, presented at check-in.
