Marshall Point Room (Room Five)
Charlie & Joanne, West End (Seven Lakes), NC
The softly honey-colored walls and beige carpet of this spacious second-floor room create the base for the lovely Croscill linens. The queen bed has a lovely brass/silver headboard. The custom mantel and gas fireplace complement the carved woodwork which is original to the house. The sitting area boasts reproduction chairs in the large bay window, and is perfect for relaxing with a good book. The bay windows face the front of the house, and a second large window faces the south side of the house. A spinet desk provides workspace for a book or computer. The large private bathroom features a full sized tub and shower combination.
The Marshall Point Room is named for Marshall Point Lighthouse near Port Clyde, Maine.
