The large guest rooms at Brewster House are decorated in rich fabrics, antiques and luxurious linens. Our beds are comfortable and cozy with plenty of pillows.

Rates include a delicious, full, hot breakfast each morning and are for single or double occupancy, unless otherwise specified.

Each room has its own large "en-suite" or "in-room" private bath and individual heat/air-conditioning controls to insure your comfort. Three of our queen rooms (Cape Neddick, West Quoddy, and Marshall Point) have gas fireplaces in the room. The Cape Elizabeth Room (on our ground floor) has a low-sill shower. All other rooms have a tub and shower combination.

We have complimentary wireless high-speed internet access (WiFi) throughout the house!

Room Configurations
The Portland Head Suite and the Bass Harbor Suite (Room Six and Room Seven) rates are for up to three or four people, as indicated above. All other room rates are for two people, for either single or double occupancy.

While we try to honor requests for a particular room, if your stay is for one night only, we do reserve the right to move your reservation to a room other than the one you selected, in order to accommodate scheduling of parties with longer stays. We will attempt to contact you by email to let you know if such a change is needed.

Policies
Ordinarily we require a valid credit card to hold your reservation, though you are not charged until arrival. For some popular weekends (college graduations, campers weekends in July, etc.), or for larger groups, rates may be slightly higher, and we may require an advance deposit which will be non-refundable within 30 days of arrival. We may also require a minimum length of stay.

A credit card is required to reserve a room. Full payment is due upon arrival. Seven days advance notice is normally required for cancellation. If a cancellation is made less than seven days before the arrival date, and we are unable to rent the room, a charge equal to one night's lodging will be incurred.

The posted rates do not include 7% Maine sales tax. VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted. Due to increases in their rates charged to us, we regret we are no longer able to accept gift cards from BedAndBreakfast.com. We do accept our own gift certificates, and gift certificates from BnBFinder.com.

Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. Our door is locked at 9:00 p.m. (once guests have checked-in, they can come and go at any time using their room key for access). If you are not able to check-in within that time, please contact us to make specific arrangements. Check out is prior to 11:00 a.m.

For the comfort of all our guests, the Brewster House is a smoke-free inn. Those choosing to disregard our smoke-free policy will be subject to cleaning fees and are responsible to compensate Brewster House for future revenue lost when smoke renders a room unacceptable for incoming guests.

We are not able to accommodate pets of any kind.

Well-behaved people of all ages are welcome.
