Looking out the window there are a pair of cardinals in the tree by my window, and the tree is filled with buds, just about to burst forth with greenery!

We've been busy sprucing up the outside and getting the final touches on some of the outdoor paint that had to wait for warm weather. We've also been busy painting some of the rooms, and new pictures are up for Room Two and Room Four, which have completely new paint and bedding.

We can tell that, while winter may still have a last gasp of fury, and a snow flurry or two, Spring is definitely on its way to the Maine coast!

Not only have we had days in the high-40's to mid-50's (Farenheit) over the past couple of weeks, but the sun has shone on us, and, as I look out my window, I can see the trees around Brewster House beginning to bud.

Like most folks, we've been working on some cleaning, painting, etc., around the house during this slower time of year.

It has also come time to do a bit of housekeeping on the web site. In addition to this News! section, we've added a number of events to our Event Calendar. In addition to the many events taking place in and around Freeport in 2007, we've also added entries for events from Portland to Rockland, and most points in between!
